Art is self-expression. And one of the purest forms of self-expression is dance.
The reason for this, in my opinion, is that it gets you out of your head and connects you with your body such that the conscious mind is turned off thus allowing for who you really are to shine through.
My work is an extension of this.
It is an extension in the sense that you are expressing yourself in a moment and I am capturing that moment.
The work is of you and for you.
BUT UNLIKE DANCE…
where moments are fleeting, my work freezes it forever.
And with time that moment becomes more meaningful and as a result more valuable.
Boudoir photography is a document of who you are now.
It gifts you this to look back on in the years to come.
